FIGHTING MY WAY OUT
I'm behind now but I'm fighting my way out and will hopefully pull a win and a loss at the end of the week. I want a win in the points game and a loss of weight. I exercised for a total of 80 minutes today and I'm sore all over. An hour of it was in the pool. I've gone back to the Y. I get a really good workout in the Y which hopefully will help. I have lost three pounds over the last two weeks. I'm anxious to see what this week brings.

I'M IN THE LEAD
As of this morning, I'm in a ten point lead. I've been doing good for two days now. I would like to say that I'm doing it alone but I started taking Slimquick. Carrie is aware but I still have to work at losing. The pills are just an aid and not a quick fix. I did do record points yesterday. I'm going to shoot to beat those points but on a day it isn't raining. LOL!!!

Points
Okay, Carrie is beating me as of this morning by 5 points. I'll be leading by the end of the week. It's great when we are neck and neck because you know you are still in the running. The most either one of us has gotten on our points is 60 and I'm out to beat that number. I want to beat the record points in one day.

MUNCHIES
I've had the munchies for the last two nights and don't know why. I managed to not cave last night but tonite I caved. I didn't do bad just a couple of chips ahoy cookies. Okay, I'll admit if hubby hadn't been there it would have been more. He took them away from me. I'm glad though. I went to have seconds at supper and my son yelled at me. LOL!!! He gets a real kick out of that. I love him to death. I'm going to lose this weight. The weather is getting colder and I know it seems to get harder the colder it gets. I'm going to press on though and start going back to the Y. I pay for the membership so I might as well use it. I would benefit greatly from doing so.

GETTING THERE
Well, today has been better. I only got 30 points yesterday. I would have had 35 but had to subtract five for no veggies. I haven't had that problem today. Today has been 60 points and I'm proud. I know Carrie is going to get her points in today. I kept telling myself that she's going to the Y and getting her 10 bonus points so I got my hour in and got my 10 points. Yeah!!! I'm going to work hard to win this month.

OFF TO A GOOD START
Well, I'm off to a great start for the new month. I had 60 points yesterday. I got five each for my fruit, veggie, breakfast, no eating after 8 and 15 for water and 15 for a 60 min walk along with the 10 bonus points. I'm thrilled. I'm going to have to try hard today to reach all of the goals because of the way today is going. I will do it though. I'm getting ready to go for my walk.
I'm excited. I can't wait to hear how Carrie did on her first day of the new challenge. How did you do Carrie?

Sept Challenge Results
The results for September goes as follows. You can let me know if I'm off by much. This is what I have though. The problem is that you're weight doesn't sound right. I may have the starting weight wrong.
Carrie: Beg. Weight: 273 End Weight: 270 Total Loss: -3 pounds Total Points Earned: 845
Shelley: Beg. Weight: 245 End Weight: 250 Total Loss: +5 pounds Total Points Earned: 449
Winner: Carrie by 396 points
I will let you know that next month will not be so easy. I'm going to make you work for every point beginning today. I think it really got hard for me last week because there was a couple of days that I felt like what was the point because there would be no way to win. Well, new month new challenge.
As far as the weight goes, do you want to start fresh with the beginning weights for the month. I mean ignore our increases and take points for each loss. I don't see the harm considering it's a new challenge. We can't do that in the middle of challenges but at the beginning I don't see a problem. Let me know what you think.

Hey girl!! I made it
That was pretty easy and I love the blog! It's wonderful and I think it will help us on getting this weight gone for good. Today was the worst day of my diet to date! I did have pizza for dinner but I only had TWO slices which was pretty good i guess. I just wish I would have been able to have the roast instead. Much healthier for sure! Anyway, I got NO walking in today and I did manage to get only two bottles of water in today! We did very similar today lol I'm sure glad that we don't start till tomorrow on our new points! Although now i have to lose 2 lbs to even count one! Oh well...my own fault. Anyhow so total points today were 8. Wed points were 45..had an hour of walking that day. Thursday took the day off pretty much...did have three bottles of water tho. So that makes Thurs points at 13. Great job on this!!! Talk to you soon.
UGH... A GAIN
Points for Thursday were 15. I had a 15 min walk and two bottles of water. Today I'm not sure how good I'll do. I started the day two in the hole because I gained 2 pounds and am back up to 250. It really sucks. LOL!!! I will lose them this week. Today has been a horrendous day. We had to put our truck in the shop because it brokedown on me. The hilarious thing was my car had just gotten done in the shop so we swapped vehicles. I told the mechanic that they can have no more of our money. LOL!!!! I still got a small walk in today and will hopefully get a couple bottles of water in.
Our current challenge ends today. We start a brand new one tomorrow which will put me in the running for a reward. I have to try harder than I have been. She's been kicking my butt. NO MORE!!! I will win.

NEW BLOG
Okay, it's the start of a new blog. I would like for Carrie and I to have a mutual spot to go to record our trial, tribulations, and points. It is going to be great to be able to be able to share our thoughts and inspire each other and other people as well to take the long journey to better health and a better life.
